Do you already know the Nordic Club?

Nordic Club is a volunteer organization and the club has three aims:

·   To function as a channel to unite the Nordic community in Jakarta through social

     gatherings and other functions.

·   To help newcomers to settle in Jakarta.

·   To carry out local charity work, both through financial support and voluntary work.

You are welcome to join us if you or your spouse originate from any of the Nordic countries  (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden). We also welcome you to join if you or your spouse work for  a Nordic company.

Current number of members is about 90 and the annual membership fee is Rp.250,000.   As a member, you will receive the club newsletter (please have a look at our latest issue at the embassy!), members‘ phone directory and you will be able to participate in organized events, trips and groups such as the Book Club, Pub Night, Golf and Play Groups with young children. Most activities are held in English.

We hold our Coffee Mornings every first Tuesday of the month (except during the  holidays in January, July and August). In December we do a Christmas Lunch instead. The big annual event is a Crayfish Party held in October.
