1. SBA News
EIA has had a board meeting where hot discussions in regards to articles and EU financed projects has been discussed. It seems that the "larger" members differs a bit from the "smaller" members. I guess we need to be a bot more pragmatic in our participation or the train will leave the station without us. There are also a EIA Business lunch on August 21, 12.30 at Intercontinental Midplaza Hotel. Call Nita Iskandar at 5208261 (IFCCI) for more information and registration.

2. Swedish Business in Indonesia News
The holidays are now over and Sweden is getting more active. A large interest for Indonesia as a country are raising. The tarnished reputation makes it hard to get investors and tourists in. Several smaller entrepreneurs are interested to establish them selves in Indonesia, with the target to be in place when it turns around. Also to note there are several investments from Sweden getting in here from the larg companies as well, even if it requires a lot of lobbying.

1. SBA News
It is holiday times and not much is happening in the Swedish Business Community. The EIA board meeting has been moved several times and the last bid was July 23.

2. Swedish Business in Indonesia News
The Sweden - Indonesia relations seems to be back on track. The hefty reaction on Hasan Tiro has calmed down and there are no reported problems for any Swedish interests. We all hope that this holds.
